Head coach Steve Cooper is remaining coy on how many more signings Nottingham Forest could make before the January window closes.
So far this month, the Reds have bolstered their squad with Brazilian duo Gustavo Scarpa and Danilo. And they are set to make striker Chris Wood their third addition, on loan from Newcastle United.
Attacking reinforcements were already a priority, even before front man Taiwo Awoniyi suffered a groin problem which will keep him sidelined for an extended spell. Injuries continue to have a significant impact on the club’s plans, with Forest now looking to bring in a goalkeeper to cover for Dean Henderson’s absence, while a centre-back is also on their shopping list.
