Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of reported Nottingham Forest transfer target Jefferson Lerma.
The 28-year-old joins them from Premier League rivals Bournemouth on a free transfer, penning a three-year contract. Forest were said to be interested in signing the midfielder, with Leicester also linked before their relegation was confirmed.
Lerma would have proven an astute signing for Forest had he moved to the City Ground, picking up Bournemouth's player of the season award as they avoided relegation. He is already experienced in the league and has attracted the attention of clubs further up the table.

Forest will be looking for midfielders this summer as Jack Colback and Cafu move on, with January signing Jonjo Shelvey also likely to depart after a short stay on Trentside.
On signing Forest target Lerma, Palace chairman Steve Parish said: “Jefferson is a strong addition to our squad. He is a proven performer at Premier League level, and his combative and competitive nature will endear him to the Palace fans.
"We look forward to welcoming him to the club on 1st July in preparation for our eleventh consecutive season in the top-flight.”
