Nottingham Forest transfer plan emerges as striker stance revealed

Nottingham Forest face a potential stumbling block in a transfer for Bordeaux striker Hwang Ui-jo this summer, with the player reportedly not too keen on the Reds’ plan for him.

Reports over the weekend claimed that Forest have had a bid accepted for the South Korean. It is said that Forest are prepared to pay a fee of around €4 million (£3.3m) with a further €1 million (£800k) in add-ons for the 29-year-old.

French outlet L’Equipe now report that Forest’s plan, if they complete a deal, is to send the striker out on loan to sister club Olympiacos. The club is owned by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
