Nottingham Forest defender Mohamed Dräger is facing a "very questionable" future in the game.
The 26-year-old has been on loan at FC Luzern in the Swiss Super League since February 2022, having never played a game for Forest since moving from Olympiacos in 2021.
Luzern have an option to sign Dräger permanently this summer, though Swiss newspaper Blick report that it is "very questionable" as to whether or not they will take it up.

Dräger dropped out of the Luzern side after the World Cup, with their manager Mario Frick saying that the player "fell into a mental hole" before being replaced in the team.
It's now said that Dräger's future is "hanging in the balance". The length of his Forest contract has never been disclosed, so it could be that he leaves on a free transfer this summer, is loaned out again, or is sold.
A number of clubs have been linked with interest in Dräger over recent transfer windows, with clubs including Caen, Saint-Etienne, Rijeka and Standard Liege credited with an interest.
