Nottingham Forest striker Hwang Ui-jo has returned to the K League for the first time in five years after joining FC Seoul on loan until the end of the season.
The Forest man spent the first half of the campaign with Forest’s sister club Olympiacos after moving from Bordeaux to the City Ground in the summer. He, however, failed to make an impact in the Greek league with his temporary deal cut short.
Having featured for both Bordeaux and Olympiacos this season, Hwang wasn’t able to play for any other European side this campaign. It meant that he would have to move out of the continent should he wish to play more in the second half of the summer.
