Nottingham Forest have had another bid rejected by Wolves for midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, according to a report.
Wolves are said to have turned down the offer over the weekend and insist the player is not for sale after an impressive pre-season campaign. His form has led to him being pencilled in as potentially a key part of Bruno Lage's plans for the new season.
Despite that, Forest are determined to get their man and owner Evangelos Marinakis has taken "personal charge" of their efforts to sign attacking midfielder. Marinakis is close to Jorge Mendes, the "super agent" who has the ear of key decision makers at Wolves.

Gibbs-White is out of contract at Wolves in the summer of 2024 and has so far refused to sign a new deal. As such, Wolves are "braced" for a further bid from Forest.
Reds head coach Steve Cooper knows Gibbs-White well, having managed him twice before. The youngster played under Cooper for England when they won the under-17s World Cup in 2017. Cooper then took him on loan in the Championship when he was manager of Swansea.
Forest are expected to continue their pursuit of Gibbs-White, with figures said to be likely to approach £30m as Marinakis looks to get the transfer done. It is said that Forest want three new players this summer and have been linked to a striker and a central midfielder in the last 24 hours.
