Nottingham Forest's Peter Taylor Stand development latest
Nottingham Forest are expected to delay work planned to upgrade and increase the capacity at the City Ground.
The Athletic report that work on the Peter Taylor Stand is being put back until 2024, having previously been due to start this coming summer, in a bid to cater for increasing demand for tickets from Reds fans.
Steve Cooper’s men return to their home stadium on Friday to face Newcastle United on the back of nine matches unbeaten in the Premier League at the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest held 'talks' with Spain international out of contract in the summer
Nottingham Forest have held “talks” with Spain international Alejandro Grimaldo, claims The Athletic.
The 27-year-old left-back will be a free agent at the end of the season after deciding not to renew his contract with Benfica, and the player is reported to be attracting interest from the Premier League.
Benfica reached the last eight of the Champions League thanks to a 7-1 aggregate win over Club Bruges, with the Reds’ target playing 180 minutes over the two legs for the Portuguese side.
'I asked why' - Nottingham Forest star reveals frank Steve Cooper conversation about teammates
Nottingham Forest defender Renan Lodi has revealed he spoke to head coach Steve Cooper about why Danilo and Gustavo Scarpa got limited game time after joining the Reds.
Scarpa has made four Premier League appearances since joining the club in January, while Danilo has featured three times in the top flight. Among those wondering why the players have not played more games in that time is their countryman Renan Lodi.
Lodi, on loan from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season, was not backwards in coming forwards by asking Steve Cooper why his fellow Brazilians were not seeing more pitch time with the Reds. He got a straightforward answer, too, and it's one that makes sense for both players after arriving in England.
Nottingham Forest legend appeals for Gustavo Scarpa recall as Jesse Lingard point made
Nottingham Forest legend Garry Birtles has called for Gustavo Scarpa to be brought back into the squad.
Forest are in an intense relegation battle after going five games without a win, leaving them two points above bottom three with five points separating 12th and 20th place in the Premier League.
Scarpa has not started since the defeat to Fulham last month and has missed out on the last two match day squads after an initial bright start at the club following his winter move from Palmeiras. Manager Steve Cooper has not confirmed the reason for his absence.
