Nottingham Forest's Jesse Lingard has set his sights on becoming an actor once he calls time on his football career.
Lingard, who will have a decision to make on his Forest future in the summer with his contract set to expire, has often spoke of his aspirations once he hangs up his boots. The England international already owns his own clothing brand and is now keen on venturing into the acting industry.
The 30-year-old was speaking on the Diary of a CEO Podcast, where he opened up on his acting dream, and much more. Via quotes from the Daily Mail, Lingard discussed the avenue of acting he would like to explore in his pursuit of making himself 'happy'.

"After football I want to go into acting. Maybe start doing a little bit of voiceover work, animation kind of things. But I need to take drama classes - I've not done that yet," he said.
"I just love films. I've always been a big film lover. And to be involved in a film or a series would be amazing. I need to really home in on the drama side of things - I'm really bad with lines to be honest. I think I'll start in comedy first.
"And then when you see the Interstellars and Inceptions - them kind of roles. But that's going to take time. You're not going to be (cast) straight way - maybe a bit part.

"I just want to be happy and do things that I want to do, to make me happy."
