Nottingham Forest have reportedly expressed an interest in making Philip Zinckernagel's stay at the City Ground a permanent one, according to reports.
The Watford Observer claim that sources close to the player have told them that the Reds have not ruled out doing a deal this summer, but nothing has yet been decided.
Zinckernagel's move to Forest has proven a successful one and last night scored the winner against Fulham as the Reds moved three points behind Bournemouth in the race for promotion to the Premier League.

The Watford Observer reported: "Whether or not an agreement can be reached with Watford is something that will be decided in the summer, with sources close to the player telling the Watford Observer that, though Forest have expressed their interest in making the deal a permanent one, nothing has been decided yet."
Zinckernagel has enjoyed his time at Forest and has regularly featured in the club's post-match videos on social video after they have won games this season.
Speaking about his future earlier this month, Zinckernagel said: "I guess it kind of depends what happens to Forest and what happens to Watford as well.
"But the plan is obviously I’ll go back to Watford, that’s where I have a contract, that’s where I am being paid and where I’m supposed to be. But I haven’t thought too much about it.
“At the same time, I’m just trying to help Forest get into the top-six and the Premier League. That’s my goal right now, and then we’ll see what’s going to happen in the summer.”
