Nottingham Forest have been fined after their players surrounded referee Chris Kavanagh during the Reds 1-1 against Wolves earlier this month.
Steve Cooper's side have been handed a £55,000 fine by the Football Association (FA) as a result of the incident on Saturday, April 1.
The Forest players reacted after Kavanagh waved away a potential handball from Wolves defender Nelson Semedo.

An FA Spokesperson said: “Nottingham Forest FC has been fined £55,000 after its players surrounded a match official during the 40th minute of the Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC on Saturday 1 April 2023.
“Nottingham Forest FC admitted that it failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and do not behave in a way which is improper. An independent Regulatory Commission imposed the club’s sanction following a hearing.”
Two other separate incidents which resulted in FA charges happened during the game as both Forest assistant coach Alan Tate and Wolves assistant Pablo Sanz were charged with alleged “improper and/or violent” conduct after they were sent off for pushing one another on the touchline in the 52nd minute.
Wolves forward Daniel Podence was also charged by the FA for allegedly spitting at Brennan Johnson, something he denied on social media.
