Nottingham Forest supporters were left outraged after losing 4-0 against Leicester City in the East Midlands derby and sinking to the bottom of the Premier League table.
Three goals in the space of ten minutes either side of the half-hour mark from James Maddison (twice) and Harvey Barnes effectively ended this East Midlands derby as a contest before half-time. Second-half substitute Patson Daka added a fourth and the 21st that the Reds have conceded just eight games into this Premier League season.
Forest fans were left far from pleased with the manner of their fifth straight league defeat. Here is a selection of the social media reaction in the immediate aftermath of that defeat.

Rich Palmer: Are you allowed to just pack in and go back down?
Shaun G: Absolutely awful. Worst performance of the season in a must-win game.
Leah Shone: I don’t believe in miracles anymore.
Gary Donnelly: You could pretty much name the team every week last season. I’ll be honest I hadn’t a clue what it would be today. I think that’s a big difference. No stability, no identity, no cohesion.
Bal Bansal: Don’t know what to say… Other than the Forest fans in the stadium there have been amazing!!!
Johnathan Sia: That was painful from the first minute
