Nottingham Forest fans have called on the club to make a summer move for Arsenal ace Emile Smith Rowe in the transfer window, after he made an impact in England’s U21 win over Israel.
The 2-0 European Championships win put the Young Lions top of Group C after the opening two matches of the competition. Smith Rowe was set up by Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White for the second goal of the game.
It was Gibbs-White's second assist of the match after he had set up Anthony Gordon’s opener in the 15th minute of the game. His performance was praised by Forest fans as England manager Gareth Southgate watched on.

The link-up between Gibbs-White and Smith Rowe is something that Forest fans want to see a lot more of in the upcoming season. The latter struggled for regular appearances at Arsenal last season, making just 12 Premier League appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side.
After the game, Smith Rowe talked about his ambitions in both the tournament and the upcoming season. “It was definitely a tough season for myself with injuries and then not quite getting back into the team and stuff,” he told BBC Sport .
“My main target right now is to get back into the Arsenal team. But obviously first, we want to win this tournament.”
Following his performance and link-up with Gibbs-White, Forest fans took to social media to send a transfer request to the club over Smith Rowe. Here’s what just some had to say.
