Nottingham Forest receive transfer demand after Carabao Cup tie with Man United confirmed

Nottingham Forest will face Manchester United in the Carabao Cup semi-final over two legs.

The Reds overcame Wolverhampton Wanderers in a 4-3 penalty shootout win at the City Ground on Wednesday night. Steve Cooper's side scored the opening goal through former Wolves man Willy Boly before Raul Jimenez equalised shortly after the hour mark.

With the game ending in a 1-1 draw, the teams battled for a place in the semi-final via a penalty shootout. Wolves walked away empty handed after captain Ruben Neves and Joe Hodge were denied by Dean Henderson with Forest in the final four of the League Cup for the first time since 1992.
