Nottingham Forest ready to take £100m action in worst-case scenario

Forest Nottingham Forest Everton Burnley Southampton the Premier League

Nottingham Forest will reportedly sue Everton for £100m if the Reds are relegated from the Premier League this season and the Toffees survive.

The Daily Mail claim that if Forest are relegated they will join forces with the two other relegated clubs to sue Everton for a total of £300m.

It is said Forest, Southampton - who are already relegated - Leicester City, Leeds United and Burnley have told the Premier League they believe they are entitled to compensation from Everton if they are found guilty of breaching spending rules.
