Nottingham Forest are reportedly pushing to sign Atletico Madrid centre-back Felipe before the transfer deadline.
Steve Cooper is keen to add further experience to Forest's backline, which is an element the Brazilian can bring at 33. Felipe made the move to Madrid from Porto in 2016, but has found life difficult this season after falling down the pecking order.
He has played a total of four games so far, with one of those coming in the Champions League. With Atletico keen on signing Leicester City's Caglar Soyuncu, Felipe's exit to Forest could be facilitated.

According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, talks between clubs are progressing, with Forest working for Felipe's deal to be a permanent one. With the Brazilian's contract set to run out this summer, the Reds could be looking at paying a reduced transfer fee.
Forest have been busy in the transfer market this month, and after signing Gustavo Scarpa, Danilo and Chris Wood, it does not seem they are likely to stop there.
