Wales want Williams news
Wales boss Rob Page wants to hold "conversations" with Forest over the fitness of Neco Williams as he prepares to name his latest squad.
The defender was ruled out for the rest of the campaign after fracturing his jaw during the Reds' 3-1 win over Brighton at the end of April.
Williams has also been a key player for his country having played in every game for his nation during last year's World Cup finals before they were knocked out in the group stages.
And ahead of the upcoming international break in June, Page has told Forest that he would like to discuss the latest on Williams' injury and whether can be included in the latest Welsh squad.
Tate punished
Nottingham Forest assistant boss Alan Tate has been handed a fine and a one-match touchline ban after admitting “improper and/or violent” behaviour.
A stormy 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the City Ground last month saw tempers flare on and off the pitch. Among the incidents, the visitors felt they should have had a penalty, arguing Adama Traore was fouled by Felipe.
That led to the two coaching teams squaring up in the second half. Referee Chris Kavanagh responded by sending off Tate and Wolves assistant manager Pablo Sanz.
The pair were charged by the Football Association. And the FA have now dished out their punishment.
Adams linked
Nottingham Forest are "ready to raid" relegated Southampton for striker Che Adams this summer.
The 26-year-old has one year left on his contract at St Mary's but now looks set to leave with his club dropping out of the Premier League.
Forest were linked with the Leicester-born forward last year and, according to talkSPORT, are prepared to make a move for him in the summer transfer window. They say head coach Steve Cooper is still a "big admirer" of the Scotland international.
Adams has scored five goals and assisted another three in 28 Premier League games this season, and netted seven in 30 last term. While he may not score masses of goals, he is a useful player to have in the forward line.
Gunners missed Danilo shot
Arsenal tried to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo on two previous occasions, it has been reported.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Forest from Brazilian club Palmeiras in the January transfer window, and has scored three goals in 13 starts from midfield as the Reds secured their Premier League status.
He is now being lined up for a recall to the Brazil national team, and it has emerged that Premier League high-flyers Arsenal have tried to sign the Forest star twice before.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal most recently tried to sign Danilo last summer, but both of their attempts to secure his signature fell through for "various reasons" that have not been disclosed in the report.
