Nottingham Forest defender Djed Spence is wanted by both Arsenal and Tottenham, according to reports in the north-east.
The right-back has been superb for the Reds since arriving from Middlesbrough on loan at the start of the season.
Boro opted against recalling Spence this month, allowing the 21-year-old to remain at the City Ground for the rest of the season.
However, Spence could end up signing for a Premier League giant before the end of the day.
According to the Northern Echo, the north London rivals are lining up bids for Spence.
However, even if a transfer does go through before tonight’s 11pm deadline, he is set to stay put as he has already played for Boro and Forest this season.
He would not be permitted to feature for a third club during the current campaign.
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is keen to increase his options at wing-back while Spence impressed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta during their FA Cup defeat at the City Ground earlier this month.
