Nottingham Forest are homing in on the Championship play-offs and still have an outside chance of automatic promotion as they bid to secure a dramatic return to the top flight.
After a dreadful start to the campaign which prompted a change in manager, the Reds have propelled themselves up the table and given themselves a real chance of reaching the Premier League. Under the guidance of boss Steve Cooper, Forest have climbed to fourth in the table, with four fixtures of the regular season remaining.
They are five points behind Bournemouth, who currently occupy the second automatic promotion spot, though the sides still have to play each other, next Tuesday (May 3). Both teams are in action this Tuesday night, with Forest taking on already promoted Fulham at Craven Cottage, and Bournemouth visiting Swansea City.

Ahead of the those matches, we have taken a look at all the permutations and what could be decided. Forest are all but guaranteed a play-off place as things stand. Blackburn Rovers won 4-1 at Preston North End on Monday night to go seventh but they remain seven points adrift of the Reds with only two games left.
So Blackburn cannot catch Forest and the same goes for Millwall in eighth. The only side outside of the top six who could mathematically overtake the Reds are ninth-placed Middlesbrough, who are nine points behind them with three to play.
Even if they claim maximum points, Boro, who host Cardiff City on Wednesday night, could only go above Forest if their rivals lost all of their remaining games and there was a huge - and unlikely - swing in goal difference. Currently, Forest have a goal difference of plus 29, while Boro's is only plus eight.
But the Reds can officially clinch their play-off spot if they get at least a point at Fulham. For their part, Marco Silva's side can secure the title if they earn a better result than Bournemouth.
The second automatic promotion place will remain in play until the weekend whatever happens, though of course Forest will be hoping to close the gap on the Cherries. If Cooper's men can beat Fulham, they would go above Huddersfield Town into third place on goal difference, while still having a game in hand on the Terriers.
While Huddersfield and Forest are third and fourth at the moment, Luton Town and Sheffield United are fifth and sixth, in the other two play-off spots. As usual, third will play sixth in a two-legged play-off semi-final, with fourth taking on fifth.
