Nottingham Forest line up two Djed Spence alternatives

Should Spence complete a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it means that Forest will move onto other potential targets.
NottinghamshireLive understands that attack minded Liverpool right-back Neco Williams is of interest to Steve Cooper and the recruitment team. The 21-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Championship winners Fulham, where he played 14 times as the Cottagers joined Forest in winning promotion.

Nottingham Forest supporters have been reacting to Derby County's misfortunes after it was confirmed that Chris Kirchner has withdrawn his bid to buy the club.
The dreaded news was confirmed by Quantuma, the Rams' administrators, with the American businessman now out of the race to take over at Pride Park after initially being named as their preferred bidder in April.
Kirchner's withdrawal means the door is now open for someone else to come in and rescue the club, which has been in administration since September when Mel Morris decided he could no longer fund the club.

Fixtures for the 2022/23 Premier League have supposedly been 'leaked' on social media ahead of the official release. The full schedule for Nottingham Forest's first season in the top flight for 23 years is set to be released at 9am on Thursday.
The so-called 'leaked' fixtures have been circulating across social media over the past 24 hours, with the leak showing the opening eight rounds of fixtures from August 6 to September 24.

Why Erling Haaland has soft spot for Nottingham Forest after completing Man City transfer
Nottingham Forest will be coming up against Erling Haaland next season after the striker's move to Manchester City was confirmed.
The reigning Premier League champions announced on Monday the highly-rated 21-year-old striker wIll join them on July 1, after signing a five-year contract at the club. It is understood that the player will cost a fee of £51.1million after City triggered his release clause.
A City statement read: “Manchester City are delighted to confirm the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund. The 21-year-old will join the Club on 1 July after penning a five-year deal which keeps him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2027."
Nottingham Forest will come up against Haaland next term after securing their place back in the Premier League via the Championship play-offs. A 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town at Wembley Stadium last month secured their place back in the division for the first time in 23 years.
