Nottingham Forest old boy agrees with Jamie Carragher about Jack Colback stunner

Former Nottingham Forest defender Keith Foy says Jack Colback's spectacular strike against West Bromwich Albion was the best goal he has ever seen.

Colback bagged his third goal of the season in Monday night's 4-0 victory over Albion at the City Ground. The other two goals against QPR and Preston respectively were not as emphatic, however.

"Listen, I hit it towards goal and it was nice to see it go in," Colback added.

Many were left stunned by the midfielder's ability. And it did not go unnoticed by the former Reds defender, Foy, who took to Twitter to post: "Jack Colback WOW best goal I have ever seen."

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher agrees with Foy - the Sky Sports pundit tweeting Colback's name next to a rocket emoji after the goal went it. Others, though, thought it was meant as a cross and not a shot.

Forest have strengthened their position in the top-six on 70 points and are in great position to make the play-offs. Their next focus as they continue the push for promotion is Peterborough United on Saturday, April 23 (3pm).
