Rangers are reportedly showing an interest in Nottingham Forest defender Jonathan Panzo ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan with Championship side Coventry City, where he has impressed with his performances. After missing six league games with a bruised knee, he returned to the squad for the last two but had been an unused substitute in both.
He has played a total of 28 times for the Sky Blues this season. It seems that his performances have not gone unnoticed, with clubs starting to show an interest ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Daily Record report that Rangers have been ‘running the rule’ over Panzo as Michael Beale looks to strengthen his squad when the season ends. The report adds that the player has been ’scouted’ by the Scottish giants, but they also have a ‘close eye’ on other defensive targets.
Panzo has been with Forest since joining from French club Dijon in January 2022. He joined Coventry on loan for the season last summer.
The centre-back came through the youth teams at Chelsea, where he worked with Rangers manager Beale, before joining Monaco in 2019. He moved to Dijon three years later.
Panzo has also represented England from U16 to U21 level, being part of the England U17 squad who won the World Cup under Steve Cooper.
If Forest would be willing to cash in on the defender this summer, or send him out on loan again is still to be seen. But it seems that there will be interest no matter what the decision.
Speaking about summer transfers earlier this month, Beale hinted that it could be a busy one for Rangers.
"We need to recruit three or four that are going to make a massive impact in this team. It may be I feel we need to change one or two in contract. We also need to sort out the future of one or two,” he said.
"We've had a squad that's had a lot of continuity for a long time but that's evolving and moving. I'm not shying away [from big change]. We need a big shift in the energy we have on the pitch on a matchday. That comes from recruitment, developing and promoting.
"We need to reduce the number of the squad and increase the quality. I agree, we need to do some really good work.”
