Nottingham Forest man prompts World Cup demand after ‘incredible’ impact

Canada fans have called for Nottingham Forest loanee Richie Laryea to be named in the starting lineup for their World Cup opener against Belgium next week.

The full-back is currently on loan with MLS side Toronto after signing on a season long-loan back in the summer. The move back to America came just six months after a move to the City Ground.

Laryea arrived in Nottingham from Toronto back in January, but made just five appearances for the club before returning stateside on a temporary deal. He will now be looking to gain a place in the Canada starting XI for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
