Nottingham Forest defender Scott McKenna limped off injured during the Reds Premier League clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
The 26-year-old was forced off after 30 minutes whilst holding his side. It is unclear what injury McKenna sustained but there was some suggestion that it was his shoulder.
Steve Cooper's side have been plagued with injuries in recent weeks with as many as nine players on the treatment table.
And Scotland international McKenna himself only made his return from more than two months out against Manchester United last week after being injured in the away defeat at Fulham in February.
