Nottingham Forest are battling for the signing of Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Viktor Tsygankov, it is understood.
The Reds are keen to bring in further reinforcements to the squad this month due to having some injury problems to contend with. So far, Steve Cooper's side have made two signings in the form of Gustavo Scarpa and Danilo.
The 25-year-old midfielder came through Dynamo's academy and made his debut in the first-team at 19 years of age. With his contract set to run out in the summer, it is claimed by Sport Arena he could be leaving the side this month.

Tsygankov has reportedly not been short of potential suitors, with Newcastle, Wolves, West Ham, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig, Anderlecht and PSV all credited with an interest.
Dynamo's president Ihor Surkis has stated that the club will "find a solution that will satisfy everyone". However, they are reportedly prepared to lose the midfielder, having valued him at €10million (£9m).
Tsygankov has made 236 appearances for the Ukrainian side, while providing 158 goal contributions.
