Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks with Atletico Madrid to sign centre-back Felipe, according to reports.
At 33, Felipe would bring bags of experience to Forest's backline, but he has barely played this season. The defender has only featured in four Atletico matches, three of which ended in defeat.
Transfer insider Fabirzio Romano claims that Forest are now close to recruiting the centre-back. He tweeted: "Nottingham Forest are now in advanced talks to sign Felipe as new centre back, discussions ongoing with Atlético Madrid.

"In case Felipe leaves, Atlético could try to anticipate Caglar Soyuncu deal with Leicester — it’s already agreed on a free for June."
Felipe joined Atletico from Porto in 2019 for a fee in the region of €20million following three years with the Portuguese giants. He has made a total of 46 appearances in the Champions League with Porto and Atletico.
Forest have been one of the busier Premier League clubs this month with Gustavo Scarpa and Danilo both joining from Palmeiras. Meanwhile, Chris Wood has joined Cooper's squad after being allowed to leave Newcastle.
