Nottingham Forest enjoyed an extremely productive January both on and off the pitch.
Steve Cooper's side were unbeaten in all four of their Premier League matches, beating fellow relegation rivals Southampton and Leicester City, while also picking up draws against Chelsea and Bournemouth. The Reds also brought in a number of new players with the likes of Keylor Navas, Danilo, Jonjo Shelvey and Felipe all making the move to the City Ground.
Arguably Forest's biggest task for the rest of the season, though, will be ensuring the arrivals gel into the squad as swiftly as possible with matches set to come thick and fast. This was a topic discussed on the latest Garibaldi Red Podcast, with former Forest striker Nathan Tyson claiming if it can be done, Cooper will have no problem keeping the Reds in the Premier League.

Matthew Davies: "Overall then Nathan, PSG's reserve goalkeeper has come in, guys with loads of PL experience, guy from Atletico Madrid, Danilo an exciting young midfielder gives us the squad we have. Do you think it's enough, are you confident Forest will stay up now?
NT: "I think the squad is shaping up very, very well. You've just got to be careful, it's not about players' history and what they've done on the field, it's about how they're like off it and how they can integrate into the changing room. There's a lot of players who are going to miss out on that 25 man squad, quality players as well like you said. O'Brien, it's tough, it's dog-eat-dog but you've got to tread careful as you can have 40 odd players that have done extremely well but they just don't gel. You've got to be careful who you bring in so as long as that's fine, as long as the changing room and the togetherness is there, Forest won't have any problems. But like I said there's been progression massively, they've got themselves out of the relegation zone, they're picking up points, on a good run of form. I can see them staying up but obviously the injuries are mounting and that Gibbs-White one is a big one for me. With Jesse Lingard not hitting the ground running, he's been in bits and spurts, it's very difficult. But there's positives along the way, with the new signings, if they can hit the ground running, Forest haven't got a problem and they can definitely take points off Leeds this weekend."
