Nottingham Forest handed transfer boost as Manchester United close in on €50m deal

The future of Dean Henderson could soon be resolved as Manchester United reportedly target Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.

United are reportedly set to hold talks with Inter to sign Onana amid uncertainty over Henderson's future. That's according to Gazzetta dello Sport who claim Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio will meet with United and Onana's entourage "in the next 48 hours".

There is said to be hope from United that an "agreement will be reached" for the goalkeeper's transfer to the Premier League. The report also adds Ausilio "has already met" with United’s director of football operations, David Harrison.

In addition, there apparently is interest from both sides to get a deal done quickly. It is claimed that Inter want "everything finalised this week" with the Serie A outfit asking for €50million (£43m) plus add-ons for their player.

This could be a boost for Steve Cooper in his pursuit of Henderson.
