Nottingham Forest fans notice what Steve Cooper did at full time vs Barnsley

Nottingham Forest fans have given their reaction to the comfortable win over Barnsley at the City Ground.

The Reds put three goals past the bottom side, making it four wins in a row in all competitions.

First half goals from Keinan Davis and Ryan Yates gave Forest a stronghold in the game, with Brennan Johnson putting it beyond doubt in the second half.

The result follows wins over Arsenal, Millwall and Derby County in recent weeks, ensuring that Forest maintain their perfect start to 2022.

It also moves the club to within one point of the play-off places ahead of the weekend’s clash against Cardiff City in Wales.

Following the full-time whistle at the City Ground, Forest fans took to social media to give their reaction, with a lot pointing out manager Steve Cooper ’s reaction.

Here’s what just some had to say.

DNOnMAZ9 : No fist pumps tonight from Coops??!

Very comfortable and easy night. Get in you reds!!!

Olly Bausor : No fist pump from Cooper after a 3-0 win...

Shows the standards he's setting! Easy win, but wasn't particularly pretty. I expect he'll say we should have dominated and controlled the game better, especially 2nd half. Same players shining as usual! All in all a great win!

Nick : Cooper doesn't look pleased. Love how he never settles #NFFC

Dave Holmes: Very obvious Cooper wasn’t ecstatic about the performance but to win when you’re not at your best even against very poor opposition is a good trait to have. #NFFC

Dee : Stevie Cooper didn’t look best pleased at the end. He knows we can play a lot better. Bodes well that we continue to strive for more #nffc

Jeff Strongman : Safe to say Cooper not happy with that performance! No fist pumps. #nffc

Jamie Halpin : Cooper fuming at the end there. A good sign of the standards he is setting. Poor in the first half of the 2nd half. On to Cardiff #NFFC
