Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to striker Lyle Taylor's "imminent move".
Boss Steve Cooper revealed Taylor is set to head out on loan in the final days of the January transfer window.
The striker was left out of the Reds' matchday squad in the 3-0 win over Barnsley at the City Ground on Tuesday evening.
"He's got an imminent loan move coming up," Cooper told NottinghamshireLive.
"I’ve been fair with Lyle, and he’s been really fair with me and the club as well.
"He wants to play. He’s 30-plus, he lives for playing and I haven’t been able to give him that opportunity.
"At the same time, I didn’t want to stand in his way of getting games."
Taylor has only made 18 appearances in the league this campaign, with nine of those appearances coming off the bench.
Many of the Forest faithful took to social media to react to Cooper's comments.
"Hopefully a nice incoming player as well then," a supporter said on Twitter.
"That's fine by me. I also trust they know what they are doing," another added.
Here is the rest of the reaction...
Sagacious: "Hopefully we keep that Silva then, looks nippy, skilful, and versatile, hit the post again today, he can defo score and impact."
Mike Wood: "Best news this transfer window."
Forestman: "No loss."
Kieran: "It’s a shame it’s not worked out for him at Forest, still a good striker there but just hasn’t shown it with us unfortunately."
Jordan Leeming: "This makes no sense unless another striker is coming in. We would left short with two CF."
JP: "Millwall with Wallace moving the other way!"
Conn Cal: "Maybe the right move for him. Do feel he does well when he comes off the bench tho, particularly when we’re winning and need some composure."
Lewis: "I like Lyle Taylor, so I hope he gets some solid game time elsewhere. Not quite done it for us, best for everyone."
Phil Tomlinson: "Great news from a financial point as he’s on big money. I wish him well. It just hasn’t worked out for him at Forest. As long as it’s not Derby."
Tom: "On many levels, very sad about this, I know it’s not entirely worked out for Taylor but he’s a proper character and seems like he really loves the club."
Toby: "If we can’t sell him might as well loan, I imagine Birmingham will be back in for him in summer."
Paul Lane: "If you watch carefully his first touch is much improved since Cooper has got hold of him. I think there's a decent player there. Could do very well on loan."
Stevo: "Nowhere near Championship standard."
