Nottingham Forest fans were left frustrated by one man's performance as they drew 2-2 with Stoke City.
Neither side were able to find an opening after a fairly even first half in which Forest managed to get just two of their seven shots on-target.
Attacking action stagnated for Forest after the interval as Stoke City took a grip of the game with clear domination with regard to possession and shots towards Brice Samba's goal.
Brennan Johnson gave the home side the lead on 56 minutes to cap off an excellent attacking move, but Josh Maja - a former transfer target for the Reds - equalised for Stoke.
Nottingham Forest looked set to take at least a point as the game entered the final five minutes, but referee Leigh Doughty sent goalkeeper Samba for an early shower as he collided with Steven Fletcher in a game changing moment.
Having made all three substitutions, Joe Worrall was forced to take the gloves but he could not deny Lewis Baker's penalty from giving the visitors the lead.
But, despite being down to 10 men, the Reds showed great resilience when Ryan Yates bundled home a 92nd-minute equaliser to salvage a point.
Here's what Nottingham Forest fans said on social media at full-time...
@NFFC_FPL: Massive missed opportunity, don't want to see Samba start again till he sorts his head out, too many silly decisions lately, the fight in this team is something else tho.
@Chris78901: Unbelievable - this side does not know when they’re beaten. 8th goal (I think) after the 90 minute mark! Idiotic from Samba, but if you’d said four points from Blackburn (A) and Stoke (H), we’d have all taken that. Onto Bournemouth.
@MitchHinchcliffe: How have we rescued a point from that. Samba’s got some explaining too do!
@alex_iskander: This almost count like a win after having to deal with the twat … I mean, ref… having a Samba moment and going behind. A year ago, we would have crumbled but not this time! You Reds. We progress again
@Ldevlin24: This team is addictive as hell. 2-1 down 92nd minute, 10 men, centre half in net, and we steal a point. On a day a win would of being massive, to not lose that is miraculous. We’d of all taken 4 points from Blackburn (a) and Stoke (h). Believe.
@smccalden: Yates saving the blushes of sent-off Samba. Good point but made hard work of it.
@philviles: This team never give up! But Brice Samba has got to stop being so reckless! Just cool ya jets man, Christ! Kudos to Joe Worrall for putting on the gloves, though. That lad will do literally anything for this club!
