Nottingham Forest fans all saying the same thing after latest transfer decision

Nottingham Forest supporters have taken to social media to respond to Xande Silva's departure to Dijon.

The Portuguese forward has joined the French Ligue 2 side on a reported three-year deal. Silva will wear shirt number 10 in what is his first career stint in France.

At Forest, he went on to make a total of 10 appearances following his switch from West Ham last summer, though failed to make a major impact.

Speaking to Dijon's club media, he said: "Dijon is a good French club that recently played in Ligue 1. The facilities are new and of higher quality. When the club offered me a contract, I was excited because the club's goal is to return to Ligue 1 soon. I liked the challenge and I'm happy to be here. We want to make fans happy."

Here is what the Reds faithful had to say...

NFFCBible: "All the best, Xande."

Tuppa: "One out, one in?"

Kieran: "He did a better job than I thought tbf to him. Hope to see a few more move on to trim the squad a bit more so we can get more in."

James Evans: "Class player on his day. Will shine at Dijon."

Mike: "Decent player but needed a bit more composure in front of goal to have really made an impact. Good squad player last year - good luck to him."

Claire: "Thank you and good luck with your future career Xande."

Guy Peacock: "Good luck Xande. Shame it didn't work out for you with us. But all the best for your future career."

PDNFFC: "All the best Xande, hope you smash it."

The Famous Club: "Another out the door... the squad reshaping continues. Fully expect another four to leave permanently or on loan, with maybe three more coming in."

Max: "Goodbye my sweet price."

Liam Henshaw: "An outgoing which makes sense. Was never really able to get the minutes needed to show what he can do. A good move for both parties."

Nathan: "Thank you for that cross against Reading!"
