Nottingham Forest fans all say the same thing after shock Joe Lolley decision

The future of Joe Lolley looks to be in doubt after Steve Cooper reportedly informed the winger he is not in his Premier League plans.

Lolley has made 170 appearances, scoring 26 goals and assisting a further 27 goals, since arriving from Huddersfield Town in 2018. However, after struggling for minutes under Cooper in last season's promotion-winning campaign, the 29-year-old looks set for a move away from the East Midlands.

According to The Athletic, Forest boss Cooper has informed Lolley that he is not part of his plans for their Premier League return and has asked the winger to train with Andy Reid's under-23s.

Lolley's possible departure would see him join Brice Samba and Lewis Grabban out of the door this summer in a hectic transfer window so far. In the midst of the news regarding the winger, Forest fans have sent their heartfelt messages to Lolley after playing a key role in recent years.

Garincha: Sad to see Joe go, no sentiment in football I know, just like the bloke. Good luck mate.

LondonReds: Think he was given several matches to see what he could do in pre-season a few weeks ago, but if he didn't impress, then that's that. I'm not surprised... he hardly featured last season but always gave it his all off the bench. Best of luck Joe.

melgarion: Sad really, I always liked Joe. Thanks for the memories.

StewyDeano: I don’t think he lost confidence. I think he just got too many injuries and it was very hard to get back to his best. There ain’t nobody like you Joe. Thanks for the amazing memories. That goal at Villa Park for the 5-5 being one of them

Lowey07: Gutted to be honest, felt like he needed regular game time to get back to his best but never got that run of games. Surely worth keeping to come on from the bench?

SnakeLegs: Not been good enough for a couple of years. Good Luck Joe, you played your part. Shame, seems the injuries did your confidence.

Redallover: Not surprised at this decision, somebody is making some ruthless decisions. Good luck Joe where ever your football journey takes you.

Barneyrubble15: Samba, Grabban & now lolley .just seems like the hearts being ripped out of Forest. I hope these new signings settle in quickly.

Thosewerethedays: Thanks Joe and all the very best , it seems our promotion winning side will be unrecognisable next season

Redlestertommy: I think we all knew this was about to happen, including Joe. He's been a good servant to the club and l hope he gets fixed up soon. Good luck, Joe, hope you stay injury free.
