Nottingham Forest will reportedly rival Everton for Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury this summer.
Central midfield is one area the Reds could do with adding players in after the departure of James Garner following his loan spell from Manchester United.
The Reds are chasing 24-year-old Choudhury, whose Foxes contract is up for renewal next summer, according to The Mirror.

They add that Choudhury will be offered the opportunity to "reignite his career" having fallen down the pecking order at the King Power Stadium. The Loughborough-born midfielder featured just six times in the Premier League last term, falling behind the likes of Youri Tielemans, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Wilfried Ndidi and Boubakary Soumaré.
Choudhury's link with Forest comes shortly after he was tipped as a loan target for Championship outfits Middlesbrough and West Brom, according to The Sun's Alan Nixon.
