Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall has said that the side ‘fancy’ themselves to get a result against anyone at the City Ground ahead of the Premier League meeting with Manchester United.
The Reds host Erik Ten Hag’s side on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm kick off) as they look to end their winless run of nine Premier League games. That poor run of form has left Steve Cooper ’s men in the relegation zone on goal difference with eight games of the season remaining.
Forest go into the game against United knowing that taking any points will give them a good chance of moving out of the bottom three at the end of the weekend. United have however improved under the stewardship of Ten Hag this season and will be looking to pick up points to help to secure a Champions League place next season.

Ahead of the clash at the City Ground, Worrall has given his assessment of the challenge facing Forest. But the defender has also pointed to the home advantage that his team have.
“They’re a fantastic team, I think they’ve definitely been underperforming for a club that size for many years since (Alex) Ferguson left," he told Sky Sports. "It’s took a while to get the right man for the job and it looks like the manager at the moment who’s there has struck the right chord with the squad.
“They’ve got fantastic players, who are we kidding, (they’re) an impressive outfit. But I think if we look at how much talent we have in our squad, the belief, the fight, the energy, the charisma that we’re going to have to have to stay in this division.
“It doesn’t matter who we play at the City Ground, we fancy ourselves.
Forest have taken points from Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool at the City Ground this season. They will be looking to repeat that when United visit this weekend.
