Nottingham Forest defender Osa Solomon has linked up with former Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi at Cardiff City.
The Bluebirds are casting an eye over the 19-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, with a view to adding him to their under-21 squad. WalesOnline report that Lamouchi link between the clubs is purely coincidental and that Solomon has been targeted by Cardiff’s recruitment team, not the Frenchman.
The right-back has already joined up with Cardiff and will have witnessed the extreme lengths Lamouchi has gone to try and inspire his players as they battle to avoid relegation from the Championship.

With the Bluebirds sitting one place above the relegation zone, you couldn't blame the players for avoiding looking at the league table. But with Lamouchi at the helm they cannot escape it, as he explained recently.
“Now it is the final sprint, it is the money time and we must be ready for that. If we win three games, I think we will be safe, but that’s the minimum,” he said.
“Everybody knows what we have to do. I’ve put the league table in the restaurant, on the stairs, in the medical room and in the locker room. The players need to know where they are and how many points they are in front and behind of other teams. They need to be aware of their situation.
“I’m not scared to do that, this is part of our job. We are absolutely inconsistent at the moment and we’ve only got 10 games left.
“Since I came in January, we’ve played eight games, lost five and won three. If we score first, we win, if we concede first, we lose. That’s something I need to work on.”
