Southampton are reportedly 'willing to move on' striker Che Adams amid interest from Nottingham Forest.
The Scotland international was an unused substitute of the opening weekend of the Premier League season against Tottenham Hotspur, with Adam Armstrong as well as midfielders Joe Aribo and Stuart Armstong all preferred up front to the centre-forward. Adams was also peripheral during pre-season, not featuring from the bench in their final friendly against Villarreal nor another against Watford last month.
Adams has been a regular at Southampton over the past two seasons, starting 23 league matches last season as Ralph Hassenhuttl's side finished 15th in the top flight. The former Birmingham City striker has scored 21 goals and assisted another 12 in 110 appearances since swapping the Second City for the south coast three years ago.

The Athletic are now reporting that they understand the club are 'willing to move on' from the 26-year-old forward this summer. Just last week, the Reds were named as one of a 'number' of teams 'looking at' Adams amid an apparent approach being made by a Premier League club.
Head coach Steve Cooper started Sam Surridge, Brennan Johnson and summer signing Jesse Lingard as part of a front three against Newcastle United last weekend, with club-record signing Taiwo Awoniyi and Alex Mighten attackers also being turned to from the bench. But aside from these options, and Lyle Taylor, who remained an unused substitute, Forest's options up front are limited at this stage of the season.
Would Adams add to the Reds attack? Have your say in the comments...
