Bayern Munich full-back Omar Richards is poised to sign for Nottingham Forest as Steve Cooper continues his summer recruitment drive.
The former Reading defender is expected to sign for Forest after a deal worth £8.5million was agreed on between the Reds and German giants Munich. Meanwhile, Forest are also closing in on a move for £17million-rated Wales right-back Neco Williams from Liverpool.
Forest been one of the busier Premier League clubs in the summer window, having recruited four players for a combined £36million. Taiwo Awoniyi was first through the door, and was swiftly followed by Giulian Biancone, Moussa Niakhate and the loan signing of Dean Henderson from Manchester United.

And Richards is set to become the club's sixth summer recruit as SportBILD reports Christian Falk reports that the player is due to undergo a medical. Falk wrote on Twitter: "Omar Richards is flying today to Nottingham for medical-Check. @FCBayern and Nottingham Forest agreed on a deal of €10m."
Richards made 12 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern last season and started five games. He also featured four times in the Champions League for the Bavarian club.
