Head coach Steve Cooper has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Manchester United in tonight’s Carabao Cup clash.
The Reds beat Wolverhampton Wanderers on penalties to progress to the semi-finals of the competition - a tournament they have won four times. They will be eager to take a positive result into next week’s second leg at Old Trafford, and go into this evening’s tie unbeaten in their last three games.
Cooper’s men came from behind to draw 1-1 at Bournemouth at the weekend, with Sam Surridge netting a late equaliser from off the bench. New signing Chris Wood made his debut on the south coast, but he is cup-tied for this evening’s match.

The Forest boss makes four changes to the side which started at the Vitality Stadium. Ryan Yates misses out with a suspected virus, having been forced off in the first half against the Cherries, while Willy Boly and Orel Mangala drop to the bench.
Scott McKenna replaces Boly in defence, lining up alongside Joe Worrall, with Serge Aurier and Renan Lodi keeping the places on either flank, ahead of goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey. New signing Danilo makes his first start in midfield, joining Remo Freuler and Gustavo Scarpa in the centre of the pitch. Morgan Gibbs-White will support Brennan Johnson and Surridge in attack.
The substitutes’ bench is made up of Jordan Smith, Steve Cook, Neco Williams, Jack Colback, Jesse Lingard, Lewis O’Brien, Emmanuel Dennis, Boly and Mangala.
Forest: Hennessey; Aurier, Worrall, McKenna, Lodi; Danilo, Freuler, Scarpa, Gibbs-White; Johnson, Surridge. Subs: Smith, Cook, Mangala, Williams, Colback, Lingard, O’Brien, Dennis, Boly.
