Nottingham Forest have reportedly agreed a "fee" with Rangers to hire their sporting director Ross Wilson.
The 39-year-old is said to have been in negotiations with Forest over a move which now seems to be a step closer amid claims that both clubs have agreed a compensation fee.
That's according to the Rangers Review, via the Daily Record, with the former Watford, Southampton and Huddersfield recruitment chief set for a return to the English game in place of Filippo Giraldi, who was sacked by Forest on Tuesday.

Wilson has faced widespread criticism from Rangers supporters recently amid protests against him and the club's board over their poor recruitment record and lack of trophies in recent years.
Reports from Scotland suggest Wilson will have a "wider-ranging role" at the City Ground, although the exact nature of his job with Forest remains unclear. To have a broader scope than a sporting director will give Wilson immense responsibility within the club.
The Glasgow Times claims Wilson's move to Forest will be "formally announced" in the next 24 hours.
