Nottingham Forest Academy boss Gary Brazil has posted a message on social media ahead of the club’s big play-off final at Leeds United.
The well respected 60-year-old is out of contract at the City Ground this summer and it remains unclear if he will remain in charge of the Reds’ youth set-up beyond the end of the season after over a decade in the post.
Brazil’s Under-21s development side face Leeds at Elland Road tonight in a play-off for promotion to Division One, with over 12,000 tickets sold for the match. Promotion would be a fitting end to Brazil’s time at Forest, if he is to leave.

Forest have seen a procession of top talent come through the academy under Brazil’s watch with Ryan Yates, Brennan Johnson and Joe Worrall currently in the Premier League. The Reds have also sold players for big profits, including Matty Cash, Ben Brereton, Oliver Burke and Arvin Appiah.
Taking to Twitter, he said: “Eleven years ago today I was given an opportunity to join @NFFC by Nick Marshall and Frank Clark. It has always been a privilege to work with outstanding staff and fantastic players inside @NFFCAcademy and provide the outcomes achieved at this iconic Club. Incredibly proud.”
