Parts of the UK are expected to be hotter than some of the Greek islands this Easter Sunday with the Met Office warning that there could be a risk of sunburn. Some areas of the country will be enjoying 18C sunshine and forecasters are predicting it could be the warmest day of the year so far.
The temperatures could even reach higher than that of Greek islands including Mykonos and Crete..The Met Office says high pressure moving across the UK is behind the warm weather.
But people have been warned that UV levels today could be as strong as the back end of the summer, with a risk of sunburn. The Met Office's forecast for Nottingham predicts sunny spells throughout the day.

It's expected to be overcast until around 12pm, when cloud will begin to clear and temperatures will reach a high of 16C. The Met Office says: "Fine with sunny spells through much of Easter Sunday, once any low cloud, mist or fog lifts and clears.
"Mainly light winds throughout and feeling warm by the afternoon. Breezier and cloudier conditions pushing into the west later. Maximum temperature 16 °C."
