Traffic has been disrupted and buses diverted after a crash between a bus and cyclist in Nottingham. Police and paramedics were called to the junction of City Link and Manvers Street, Nottingham city centre, at 12.30pm on Thursday, December 29 after a collision.
A man who was injured during the crash has been taken to hospital. His condition is not yet known, according to Nottinghamshire Police.
Manvers Street has been closed while inquiries are carried out at the scene, which according to Google Maps has caused slow traffic in the area. Earlier today the A612 was shut in both directions between Sneinton Hermitage and Lower Eldon Street, while Manvers Street A612 (inbound) has as of 1.45pm been shut from the junction with Meadow Lane by the entrance to Lady Bay retail park.

The collision has caused NCT bus services to divert, resulting in some 'severe' delays. Red 44 and 50 are diverting via London Road, Meadow Lane and Cattle Market Road, while stops on Manvers Street, Southwell Road and City Link are unable to be served.
Red 44 cannot serve Sneinton Hermitage away from Nottingham and will instead use Daleside Road, with services towards Nottingham serving Sneinton Hermitage as normal. NCT added: "There are delays on Red 44 and severe delays on Red 50 due to this incident."
