German police have launched a bizarre appeal to identify a young woman who was burned to death, releasing pictures of the victim’s teeth.

Investigators in the German city of Mainz hope that the astonishingly healthy-looking choppers may jog someone’s memory.

The blaze victim was found dead and completely charred under an autobahn bridge in the early hours on Wednesday, June 15.

Baffled police of the south-western German state of Rhineland-Palatinate state they have no clue as to who she could be.

Police Department Mainz stated in a press release that the badly burned remains were spotted under a bridge on the BAB 61 Federal Motorway and near the B 48 Federal Highway and close to the municipality of Munster-Sarmsheim located in the Mainz-Bingen district.

The BAB 61 (Bundesautobahn 61) is a German highway that connects the border to the Netherlands near the city of Venlo in the northwest to the interchange with A 6 near the town of Hockenheim.

In contrast, the B 48 route is a federal highway passing through the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, and leads from the town of Bingen am Rhein in the north to almost 80.7 miles to the municipality of Bad Bergzabern in the south.

After the horrific finding, Mainz Criminal Police Department took the baffling decision to release a photo of her striking tooth profile.

They hope friends, relatives or even a dentist might recognize her and provide useful information that would lead cops to her identity.

Officers say that despite the victim’s severe injuries, she had impeccably healthy teeth, with no dental bridges, crowns, or any cavities damage.

In addition, as reported by the police spokesperson, she had a specific dental chart characterized by a short right canine tooth, as well as protruding and forward-pushed canines.

The German police estimated the victim whose hair was tied in a ponytail to be between 20 and 45 years old, and somewhere between 155 5.1 feet and 5.7 feet tall.

Due to the severity of the burns, Mainz Criminal Police Department investigators could not provide information regarding the victim’s hair color.

The police and the public prosecutor assume the woman was a victim of a criminal offense.

People who are able to provide relevant information about the uncommon case are requested to contact the Mainz Criminal Police Department or any other police station in the country.
