With the 2024 NFL draft just months away, the NFL world has gathered in Mobile, Ala. this week for the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Teams will be watching how some of the top draft-eligible players across the country perform as they compete against each other in practices leading up to the all-star game.
The team’s took the field for a second time as units on Wednesday. Here is our notebook for the second day from the National Team practices:
Michigan WR Roman Wilson has another good day
The speedy receiver not only showed consistency but had some real highlight grabs. The wide receiver group in Mobile has really impressed and Wilson is able to make a name for himself through the competition at the spot.

UCLA DE Laiatu Latu once again looks the part
After a solid first day, Latu came back with an even better performance on day two. He pulled out some new moves from his bag in day two and showcased his pass rush ability.

Oregon State OT Taliese Fuaga has been the star of the OL
He has looked simply unbeatable in Mobile as he has been able to shut down some pass rushers that are winning against the other guys on the line (such as Latu and Adisa Isaac).

WR Malachi Corley backs up the Deebo Samuel comparison
He showcased his ability to win at the release point against coverage yesterday and on day two was able to show his versatility. His big play of the day came on a reverse that he took for a big gain.

Quarterbacks have not been great
The quarterback play has not been elite in Mobile this week, with the National team passers looking inconsistent at best. None of Bo Nix, Michael Penix or Sam Hartman have been able to make some noise.

The FCS RB has taken mobile by storm. He has shined as a pass catcher, winning from the slot on occasion. Could be an interesting day three name at the draft.
