The road to the 2024 NFL draft isn’t as long as it looks like — before we know it, the New Orleans Saints will be on the clock. And the first big milestone on this journey is in Mobile, Ala., which hosts the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Teams will be watching how some of the top draft-eligible players across the country perform as they compete against each other in practices leading up to the all-star game.
Prospects took the field for a second time as units on Wednesday. Here is our notebook for the second day from the American Team practices:
DL Darius Robinson has dominated
Whether it be against the run or showing off his pass rush moves, Robinson has looked awesome this week. He’s also doing it against centers, guards and tackles.

DL T'Vondre Sweat looks powerful
The 360-ish pound defensive lineman looks like he has put all of his weight into his insane strength. He could be a guy that plugs the middle of a defensive line.
T'Vondre Sweat is a FORCE😳

WR Xavier Legette bounces back
It was a rough start for Legette after he came in two inches shorter than expected and had a rough first day of practice. He bounced back with a solid day two.
Xavier Legette just wanted it more😤

RB Daijun Edwards looks speedy
Edwards has had a great start to Senior Bowl week. He continued his performance today with his speed apparent, especially out of the back field as a pass catcher. He looks very smooth.

DB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has a great second day
He didn’t have a bad first day, per se, but he didn’t jump out. That changed in day two as he constantly made plays.

WR Jha'Quan Jackson looks very fast
Jackson had a very quiet first day in Mobile, but bounced back with a lot of wins on Wednesday. A lot of his wins came from nice routes and just blazing past defenders.
