NEW DELHI: Star India seamer Mohammed Shami downplayed his success, stating that "it's not rocket science" as he claimed the title of India's most prolific World Cup bowler during the dominant 302-run victory over Sri Lanka in Mumbai.
Shami's exceptional performance of 5-18 propelled him to 45 wickets at World Cups, surpassing the previous record set by Javagal Srinath and Zaheer Khan, both of whom had 44 wickets each.
