'Not possible': Demon says one coach a thing of past

Alex de Minaur reckons the days of elite tennis players having only one coach are over as he eyes an elusive maiden grand slam semi-final showing at the US Open.

Australia's world No.8 takes on classy Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime on Wednesday (Thursday AEST) looking to make the last four of a major at the sixth attempt.

After falling in the quarter-finals five times previously, including twice in New York in 2020 and last year, de Minaur has the luxury of his lifelong Spanish coach Adolfo Gutierrez, Australian mentor Matt Reid and Davis Cup captain Lleyton Hewitt all courtside this campaign.
