Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson suffered a worrying muscle injury during Nottingham Forest's 2-0 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.
Henderson joined the East Midlands club just days into Erik ten Hag's spell at Old Trafford. When pressed as to why he decided to leave so soon, the English goalkeeper suggested that he did not want the United manager to talk him out of the decision.
Since moving to Forest, Henderson has solidified himself as Steve Cooper's first choice and has kept six clean sheets in 20 appearances. His latest came during the win over the Foxes but the 25-year-old was treated by medical staff in the latter stages for an injury.

United's 'keeper did manage to continue until the final whistle but did not look comfortable at full time. Speaking to Nottinghamshire Live, Forest manager Cooper provided a concerning update: "My first impression is, not good.
"But scans will tell more, with more clarity in the next day or two. We will have to see how that goes.
"It's a muscle injury, I think it's his thigh, but I'm not sure." One of Henderson's most recent heroic performances came in midweek as Forest beat Wolverhampton Wanderers on penalties in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
Victory for Cooper's men earned them a two-legged semi-final against United with the ties to be played on January 25 at the City Ground and February 1 at Old Trafford. League Cup rules state that a loanee cannot play against their parent club without the expressed wishes of said team.
It is understood that United have not allowed Henderson to play against them so he will be ineligible for the semi-finals even if he is fit. The 25-year-old's spell in the East Midlands expires at the end of the season.
