Is it now even a surprise to see that James Milner has won a running competition during a Liverpool pre-season session? It has become the norm since his arrival from Manchester City in 2015 and, at 36-years-old, it doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon.
Liverpool are currently out in Austria for a training camp that manager Jurgen Klopp describes as 'his time' - and that left-back Andy Robertson highlights as the place where things are taken up a notch.
And Milner certainly appears to be doing that. In a clip shared by the club on its Instagram account, Milner can be seen outlasting Mohamed Salah in the running challenge with Andreas Kornmayer, the club's head of fitness and conditioning, being heard shouting, 'c’mon boys, faster, push now'.
Milner, Curtis Jones, Mohamed Salah, Tyler Morton, Naby Keita, Fabio Carvalho and Jordan Henderson made up one group, while Robertson, Harvey Elliott, Ibrahima Konate, Isaac Mabaya and Sepp van den Berg ran together.
One fan took to social media to react to Milner's win by saying: "He must have been on the Ribena again." A reference, of course, to when the veteran said he'd have a Ribena to celebrate Liverpool getting to the Champions League final.
Another Liverpool supporter wanted to know what Milner ate in his daily diet to keep in such good shape: "What does he eat? I'm genuinely curious."
"Not even Mo can stop him," said another. The Egyptian tried his best to keep up with Milner, but not even Salah could manage to beat the Yorkshireman.
