When Bing Crosby sang, 'I'm dreaming of a white Christmas, like the ones I used to know,' he was talking about a landscape covered in snow. Though we haven't yet learned how to control the weather, modern decor means we can design a white Christmas without one nimbostratus cloud in the sky.
Lindsay Lohan's striking white Christmas tree idea is the perfect example. The actor took to Instagram to share a video of her seasonal decorating, and it all centers around a white faux tree littered with gold, green, silver, and red ornaments (like these adorable red bows from Amazon). Beaneath the tree, a fuzzy white skirt lends a cozy feel.
